At SM Smith Associates we want to make Health and Safety implementation and compliance as straightforward as possible for you and your business.  As well as providing expert health and safety training, risk assessment and accident investigations.

We are members of IIAI and offer CDM Co-ordination. If you’re an employer then it’s your responsibility to assess and manage health and safety risks.  It doesn’t matter if your business is big, or small, you have to comply with the current legislation.

It’s against the law not to!  Not only are you responsible for your employees, you’re also responsible for anyone else visiting you premises such as customers, contract workers, suppliers or the general public.

Although all employers have a duty of care, if your business employs more than 5 people you must also have a formal health and safety policy in place, to comply with The Health and Safety at Work etc.
